0.0       Come out of Kingsbridge heading west on the A381 signposted Salcombe
             Pass through West Alvington.

2.6       Turn right into Burleigh Lane, signposted Galmpton, Hope Cove

3.7       At Galmpton Crossroads, turn right then bear left signposted Galmpton

4.2       At junction, bear right

4.8       Continue forward onto Hope Bypass

4.9       Turn left, signposted Inner Hope

N.B. If you have put TQ7 3HH into your sat nav it will probably tell you have arrived, just after the entrance to The Cottage Hotel. You haven’t quite!

Continue along the road as it sweeps first to the left, then to the right and then down the hill towards the sea.
Immediately past Hope Cove House (formerly the Sun Bay Hotel) on the right, turn right up a narrow lane, signed No Through Road. At the end of the lane go through the wooden gates. Old Colonial House is the long low building in front of you. Park alongside Old Colonial House in one of the two bays marked “MIDSHIPS”.
